Job summary

Vivid Seats, located in Chicago, IL, is seeking an HR Generalist to manage onboarding, policy administration, non-exempt timekeeping, and I-9 compliance. You will serve as the first point of contact for employee needs and maintain accurate HR records, while partnering with HR leadership to optimize processes.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with a hybrid 3-days-in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field.
• Experience supporting employee-facing administrative processes preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries
• Coordinate onboarding activities to create a seamless new hire experience
• Ensure I-9 compliance and proper documentation
• Administer accommodation requests and timekeeping support
• Process employment verifications and maintain HRIS data accurately
• Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and HR knowledge base
• Drive process improvements to enhance employee experience and efficiency
• Collaborate with HR, People Operations, Recruiting, Payroll and business leaders to deliver high‑quality support across the lifecycle
