Job summary

Caris Life Sciences is seeking an on-site HR Generalist in Irving, TX to support HR Operations by administering leave and accommodation programs and managing employee data and compliance. You will coordinate with the Director and HR Operations team on high-volume, compliance-sensitive cases and oversee the third-party leave vendor.

The role requires 4+ years in HR with hands-on leave administration, experience with Workday/ADP/Oracle HRIS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional HR experience with direct leave administration (FMLA and state-specific).
• Experience managing a third-party leave or benefits vendor relationship.
• Proficiency in HRIS (Workday/ADP/Oracle) with Absence and HCM modules.
• Knowledge of ADA interactive-process requirements and coordinating accommodation cases.
• Ability to handle confidential medical and personal information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Administer FMLA, state, and company leave programs; intake, case setup, tracking, and closure.
• Manage third-party leave administrator relationship: claims monitoring, weekly leave reporting, and issue resolution.
• Process leave-related Workday transactions, including suspension and reactivation of system access.
• Provide payroll with accurate, timely leave-of-absence information, including wage continuation and return-to-work status.
• Coordinate interactive-process meetings and manage accommodation paperwork intake, tracking, and documentation through to case closure.
• Prepare case summaries and supporting documentation for HR leadership review.
• Own name, address, and job profile changes, including multi-state address changes triggering tax/compliance review.
• Create and audit supervisory organizations and cost-center assignments in Workday; flag discrepancies before payroll.
• Process employment verification requests within SLAs; monitor HR helpline inbox.
