Job summary

A First Name Basis Home Care, a rapidly growing in-home care provider, seeks a People Operations Associate III to support onboarding, benefits, compliance, and workers' compensation from our Plano, TX office. The role covers HR policy implementation and cross-department collaboration in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years HR experience, strong benefits and leave management expertise, and must be proficient with HRIS systems like Paylocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience with emphasis on benefits, leave, and workers' comp.
• Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Paylocity preferred).
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR preferred.
• Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, benefits administration, and employee inquiries.
• Support compliance, policy updates, and audits.
• Manage and process leaves (FMLA/ADA) and workers' comp end-to-end.
• Assist with performance cycles, goal setting, and development planning.
• Support training initiatives and HR process improvements.
