Job summary

GumGum is seeking an HR Operations Specialist in Santa Monica to manage benefits, immigration support, compensation operations, and ongoing People programs. The role collaborates across teams and uses AI tools for efficient communication and data handling.

The position sits with the VP of People & Culture, offering hybrid work with in-office and remote options, and requires a capable generalist comfortable moving across HR domains.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR or People Operations, cross-domain experience across benefits, immigration, compensation, and programs.
• Proven ability to run defined processes independently after training.
• Experience supporting recurring People programs (open enrollment or performance cycles).

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day benefits administration and open enrollment end-to-end.
• Manage immigration processes, I-9 and E-Verify where applicable.
• Maintain compensation data, band placement, compa-ratio and offers analytics.
• Support recurring People programs and drive cadence across reviews and surveys.
• Collaborate with HR systems owners on data integrity and audits across tools.
• Take on cross-domain projects as a flexible generalist.
