Job summary

Moon is seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to partner with the Palo Alto and Tokyo HR teams, driving smooth HR operations and compliant processes in the US.

You will own HRIS, data management, onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance and learning initiatives, and reporting to inform studio strategy.

This role requires 5+ years in HR Generalist or HR Operations, a global mindset, and the ability to navigate multiple time zones with integrity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as HR Generalist or HR Operations Specialist, with US compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• HRIS & Data Management: Own HRIS, modules, adoption, and data accuracy.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Lead induction and ensure timely, accurate execution.
• Employee Relations: Serve as point of contact and maintain positive workplace dynamics.
• Compensation & Benefits: Oversee benefits enrollment and payroll data updates.
• Performance Management: Coordinate cycles and support managers.
• Training & Development: Collaborate on sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Compliance: Align HR practices with US labor laws.
• Reporting & Metrics: Prepare headcount, turnover, compensation, and diversity reports.
• Recruiting Operations: Support regional recruiting activities, including background checks.
• Autonomous Execution: Work proactively on ad hoc priorities.
• Corporate Function Alignment: Coordinate with Finance and IT/Workplace teams.
• Cross-Level Communication & Influence: Build trust across all levels.
