Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. You will partner with managers to ensure consistent processes and a positive workplace culture across the organization.

The role requires strong knowledge of employment laws, excellent communication, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations practices, and HR compliance requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Ability to meet applicable pre-employment screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support day-to-day HR operations across multiple functional areas.
• Manage employee lifecycle activities including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.
• Conduct workplace investigations and assist in resolving employee concerns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and personnel documentation.
• Prepare, review, and submit workforce and compliance-related reports.
• Assist with audits, policy administration, and regulatory documentation requirements.
• Support workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and related employment matters.
• Monitor HR practices and identify opportunities to reduce compliance risk.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and HR guidance.
• Partner with supervisors and managers to address workplace issues and performance concerns.
• Provide resources and referrals for employees facing personal or workplace challenges.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and productive work environment.
