Must Haves:
You’ll wear many hats as you manage payroll and benefits, and handle a variety of general HR responsibilities.
A thorough understanding of payroll and benefits procedures and regulations will be essential in this role. Your payroll duties will include processing bi-weekly payroll, inputting accurate salary and tax information for all employees, processing year-end adjustments, and coordinating with the firm’s payroll vendor. You’ll be responsible for administering the firm’s benefits programs and facilitating open enrollment process as well as new hire enrollment. You’ll be a point of contact for both employees and vendors and will ensure that the firm is in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Additionally, you’ll take on a variety of general HR duties as you coordinate the hiring and onboarding processes for both attorneys and staff, maintain up-to-date employee records, calendar staff events, and keep the office looking its best. You’ll be essential in fostering the firm’s fun and collegial environment as you coordinate celebrations and special perks that make this a wonderful place to work!
