Job summary

Boly:Welch is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate for a client in Oregon. The role focuses on OSHA litigation and labor matters with a clear path to partnership.

You’ll manage all phases of labor and employment litigation: case management, legal research, document review, drafting briefs, and representing employers before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. This is a hybrid schedule with a national firm offering strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in labor and employment law
• 2+ years of OSHA litigation experience
• JD and Oregon State Bar membership

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll handle all phases of labor and employment litigation. This will include full case management, legal research, reviewing documents, drafting briefs, and representing employers before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. You’ll take on OSHA litigation matters at the state and federal level, so you’ll need to have an in-depth understanding of OSHA inspection and citation contest procedures.

A professional and consultative approach will be important as you tactfully advise clients on workplace management issues ranging from hiring to separation of employment, employment contracts, and other personnel matters.

You’ll have a hybrid schedule.
