Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Foster engagement, belonging, and high performance; provide quality customer service to stakeholders.
• Answer and direct department phone calls; greet visitors and route inquiries.
• Provide verifications and forward payroll-related requests to Payroll Manager.
• Coordinate employment processes; conduct background checks and onboarding.
• Create new hire IDs; manage badge printing and supplies.
• Assist posting vacancies and guide departments through proper processes.
• Update and administer applicant tracking software; support job descriptions and rosters.
• Reconcile HR invoices; maintain purchasing records.
• Assist with audits and mandatory reports, including I-9 reviews.
• Assist with events such as Open Enrollment and trainings.
• Maintain personnel files, applications, interviews, and related records.
• Purge records per retention schedules.
• Support FMLA, workers' compensation, and benefits administration processes.
• Update HR pages on City website; schedule meetings and manage calendars.
• Monitor office supplies; maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate issues timely; cross-train with other HR roles.
