Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking an HR Generalist to support the Natchaug Hospital Mansfield Ct location. The role focuses on HR customer service, data integrity, onboarding, and regulatory readiness across the Mansfield and Meriden sites.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition and Operations to coordinate hiring events, community partnerships, and employee engagement activities while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to HR laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year of general business experience; HR experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR customer service and collaborate with HR team to resolve local HR issues.
• Maintain HR data such as licensure/certification tracking, compliance logs, and regulatory readiness.
• Coordinate regional orientations, service recognition events, and engagement activities.
• Provide administrative support such as evaluating and maintaining years of experience data, regulatory readiness reviews with audits.
• Serve as main point of contact for orientation and onboarding for colleagues and contingent workers.
• Assist in production of HR reports, metrics and analytics.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to coordinate hiring events and recruitment initiatives.
• Coordinate internship, volunteer, job shadow and pipeline programs.
• Support engagement and retention tactics including stay and exit interviews.
• Administer Position Review Committee decisions and requisition management with Talent Acquisition.
• Ensure appearance of Hartford HealthCare booths and branding materials.
