Job summary

Addison Group in Hoffman Estates, IL seeks a highly organized HR Administrator to support day-to-day HR operations during a leave of absence. You will focus on onboarding, pre-employment coordination, HR documentation, and administrative support, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience from start to finish.

You will coordinate onboarding activities for multiple new hires, manage pre-employment requirements, maintain candidate communications, and enter data into the HRIS while generating reports

Qualifications

• 3+ years of administrative experience, preferably supporting HR or executive leadership.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working within an HRIS system.
• Intermediate Excel skills (PivotTables and VLOOKUPs).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Hybrid work schedule with in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding activities for multiple new hires at various stages.
• Manage pre-employment requirements, including verifications, documentation, and paperwork.
• Maintain regular candidate communication to collect information and keep timelines.
• Enter and update employee information within the HRIS system.
• Generate reports and maintain organized records for HR.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team across functions.
• Assist with onboarding logistics and special HR projects as needed.
• Handle confidential employee information accurately and professionally.
