Job Summary:
As an HR & Office Administrator, your role will be multi-faceted. You’ll undertake a wide range of tasks to support the warehouse and employees, such as organizing training sessions, answering questions, assisting with the hiring process, and crafting HR policies. This position also oversees the day-to-day needs of the building such as safety walks and ordering supplies. You will use multiple internal systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. This role works directly with and supports the supply chain and transportation teams locally in Hebron, KY.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with maintaining accurate timecard records for employees
Assist with hiring events
Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
Assist with new-employee drug and background checks
Promote programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Undertake tasks around performance management
Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and organizing team building activities
Ensure compliance with labor and safety regulations
Conduct safety audits
Responsible for the procurement of office and safety supplies
Performs other related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
Academic degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or equivalent, or proven professional experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
Expert in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Experience with ADP preferred
Experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
Willingness to collaborate on process improvements
Comfortable with technology - virtual collaborative meetings, adaptable to new software and tools
Compensation and Benefits:
$45,000-$50,000 per year
