A leading behavioral health organization is seeking a coordinator for their FAIR and HOPE programs. The role involves managing daily operations, processing authorizations, and ensuring clients receive necessary services. Ideal candidates will have a degree and experience in office management within a mental health setting.
The FAIR program coordinates behavioral health services for adults and children involved with Hamilton County Job and Family Services Children's Services Division. Open Children's Services cases with mental health and/or drug and alcohol needs are referred to FAIR for diagnostic assessments, connection to community services, care management, case consultation with JFS workers, and collaboration with community service providers. The HOPE program coordinates behavioral health services for children ages 7-17 involved in at least two of the major service systems within Hamilton County, including Developmental Disabilities, JFS Children's Services Division, Juvenile Court, and Mental Health. Staff evaluate referrals, connect clients to services, provide active care management and coordination, and discharge transition planning to ensure continued service receipt.
Provides assistance to ensure smooth daily operation of the program, processes funding requests, invoices, and notifications; provides data entry for authorizations; processes HOPE authorizations; responsible for filing and closing of charts; manages subpoenas and record requests; supports Open Access; completes OHBIS at admission and discharge.
2-4 year college degree, demonstrated effective experience in office management tasks, experience in psychiatric office or mental health agency, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organization skills, computer skills, and experience in office management and operations.
