Linamar Corporation in Fletcher, North Carolina seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR department, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, health and safety, compliance with employment legislation, and policy development.

The role requires a degree or diploma in HR or related field and 5–7 years of HR leadership experience; strong communication, policy interpretation, decision making, and HRIS proficiency

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience, training, or certifications.
• Five to seven years’ experience in a previous human resources role.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on employee relations and compliance with Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve employee relations issues with management.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment: postings, screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding.
• Champion employee development and succession planning; deliver growth programs.
• Mentor and coach direct reports and management onboarding.
• Support claims management (STD, LTD, WSIB, return-to-work).
• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
• Maintain employee morale with engagement activities.
• Conduct investigations and resolve issues while maintaining confidentiality.
• Lead disciplinary meetings and policy-adherence during hearings.
