Job summary

Elite Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of HR for our facility. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance, ensuring high workforce quality and regulatory adherence.

In this role, you will post openings, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, maintain confidential personnel files, track certifications, and support performance management.

Responsibilities

• Post job openings and manage applications through Apploi
• Review applications, coordinate interviews, and communicate with candidates
• Complete reference checks and required pre-employment screenings
• Coordinate offer letters, hiring documents, and onboarding
• Ensure new hires complete required employment forms and documentation
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files
• Track licenses, certifications, background checks, and required training
• Ensure employee records are updated and organized
• Address employee concerns and workplace complaints promptly
• Document complaints, investigations, and corrective actions objectively
• Escalate discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other serious concerns to the Administrator or appropriate leadership
• Maintain confidentiality and follow established reporting procedures
• Coordinate employee evaluations, counseling, disciplinary actions, and termination documentation
• Ensure managers follow company policies and established HR procedures
• Maintain required employment records and support compliance with applicable employment laws
• Coordinate responses to audits and requests for employee documentation
• Monitor attendance concerns and assist with corrective action when appropriate
• Coordinate with department managers regarding staffing needs and vacancies
• Track employee leave requests and related documentation
• Support retention initiatives and workplace engagement
• Respond promptly to emails and requests from the Administrator and leadership
• Complete assigned tasks and submit requested documents within established deadlines
• Communicate the status of pending assignments and escape delays or concerns
• Maintain organized records and provide timely HR reports as requested
• Review Apploi and check new applications, candidate messages, open positions, and hiring priorities
• Review staffing needs and communicate with department managers regarding vacancies and recruitment priorities
• Process applicants, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and update applicant statuses
• Complete onboarding, verify required documents, screenings, and training requirements
• Address employee concerns, document issues, follow reporting procedures, and obscure serious complaints promptly
• Update employee records, file completed documents, and monitor outstanding requirements
• Complete administrative requests, respond to leadership emails, and meet deadlines
• Provide status updates, report hiring progress, outstanding documentation, employee relations matters, and unresolved issues to the Administrator
• End-of-day review, confirm priority tasks are completed, and communicate any pending items with expected completion dates
