Job summary

Rodenhiser Home Services, Inc. is seeking a hands-on, people-focused HR Manager to lead all HR functions for our multi-trade home services company.

This role partners with leaders to shape culture, support teams, and drive performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will manage recruiting for trades and office roles, oversee HR operations, benefits coordination, payroll, and safety programs, and ensure policy consistency in a company that values empathy and excellent service.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related SHRM credentials.
• Strong knowledge of Massachusetts employment law and Worker's Compensation.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and JazzHR.
• Experience overseeing safety programs or analyzing insurance loss data (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting for trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Painting, Architecture, Drafting) and office/warehouse roles via Jazz/HR.
• Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace.
• Lead HR operations, including compliance, policy management, training, and development.
• Manage investigations, documentation, corrective actions, and exit interviews.
• Support performance management, coaching, and career development.
