Job summary

D&H Distributing seeks an experienced HR Manager (Onsite) at the Harrisburg Distribution Center. This fast-paced role requires organization and hands-on engagement to support retention and compliance.

Responsibilities include full cycle HR, high-volume recruitment, benefits management, safety partnership with operations, and timekeeping auditing. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in HR within distribution/manufacturing and strong knowledge of employment laws.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Human Resource generalist or management experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of employment laws (federal and state).
• Experience managing leaves including workers' compensation, FMLA, ADA.
• Ability to coach and build relationships with co-owners, internal departments and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle HR within the distribution center including high-volume recruitment, employee engagement, training and development, new employee orientation, and benefits management.
• In partnership with operations, ensure safety, workers compensation and unemployment claim management, employee relations, and auditing of timekeeping.
• Partner with the operations team to ensure consistent application of policy and procedures.

• Ability to perform clerical and administrative duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizing, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, including understanding when it’s necessary to operate with a strong sense of urgency.
• Knowledge of time keeping systems, TCP preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English, bi-lingual is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
