Job summary

Nammo Pocal is hiring a Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR activities across Plant 1 and Plant 2, supporting a safe, compliant workplace.

You will lead employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, compliance with FLSA/FMLA/ADA/HIPAA, and partner with finance on payroll. Travel may be involved.

The role requires 5+ years in HR, a Bachelor's in HR, and strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of generalist HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA and related regulations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with all levels across the company.
• Proficient with MS Office, SharePoint and basic HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all HR aspects across both locations.
• Manage employee relations and investigations.
• Lead training and development programs for safety and HR.
• Advise management on policy changes and communications.
• Develop and update the company handbook.
• Track attendance and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee recruitment for hourly and salary roles.
• Ensure compliance with federal contractor reporting.
• Coordinate payroll changes with finance.
• Provide headcount and demographics analyses.
• Prepare monthly/annual HR metrics.
• Manage safety programs and accident prevention.
• Oversee return-to-work and workers' comp claims.
• Administer benefits programs.
• Assist in compensation policies and pay surveys.
• Participate in compensation benchmarking.
• Support projects including events and community outreach.
