Job summary

Independent Furniture Supply in Tupelo, MS is seeking a results-driven HR Manager to oversee the employee lifecycle for a 240-employee manufacturing facility. You will partner with plant leadership to recruit, develop, and retain talent while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

The role covers employee relations, benefits administration, safety programs, and HR reporting to support a productive and engaged workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with OSHA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, COBRA, HIPAA and EEOC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of employment from hiring to separations.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Administer benefits, open enrollment, FMLA/ADA/workers' comp.
• Ensure policy compliance and labor law postings.
• Coordinate safety initiatives and workers' compensation processes.
• Prepare HR reports on turnover, absenteeism, and headcount.
