Peerless Search Partners is partnering with a Southeast Columbus employer to hire an HR Manager who will own the function onsite every day. This role offers a seat at the leadership table and broad responsibility from recruiting to payroll.

Ideal candidate will thrive in a small business, hands-on, with a track record in recruiting, payroll, benefits, training, and employee relations. Onsite work in Southeast Columbus is required, with no relocation assistance.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of HR experience, including recruiting, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Experience supporting both office and field employees.
• Experience developing or running training programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Construction or related industry experience preferred.
• Prevailing wage reporting experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with field employees and management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage recruiting and onboarding for office and field employees.
• Build and run training programs that develop new technicians.
• Process weekly payroll and prevailing wage reporting.
• Administer benefits, including annual enrollment and ongoing employee changes.
• Support managers with performance reviews, goal setting, and disciplinary actions.
• Handle employee relations and partner with outside legal and insurance vendors as needed.
• Maintain employee records, time off tracking, and labor law compliance.
• Build relationships with local career and technical schools for internships and future hires.
• Present HR metrics to the leadership team quarterly.
