Job summary

WhiteWater Express in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager, Employee Experience to lead HR operations with a strong focus on employee relations, coaching, policy, and service delivery. This on-site, full-time role reports to senior HR leadership in a fast-growing multi-state organization.

You will guide the HR representative team, escalate complex people matters, and help build consistent practices across the field and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience with depth in employee relations.
• Broad generalist experience across leave, ADA, payroll, benefits, compliance, policy, and HR operations.
• Experience leading or developing HR professionals and improving consistency of work.
• Knowledge of federal and multi-state employment requirements and when to involve counsel.
• Strong investigation, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build structure without adding unnecessary process.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the HR representative team.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations and terminations.
• Oversee HR case-management standards including intake, triage, escalation, and closure.
• Own exit interview practices and use feedback to identify retention improvements.
• Create and improve HR policies, SOPs, templates, and workflows.
• Identify risk patterns and strengthen manager capability through guidance and training.
• Partner with field leaders and corporate teams to build scalable practices.
