Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking an HR Manager in Manufacturing at our Culver, Indiana plant to lead compliance, audits, and local HR initiatives on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to federal and state laws.

You will partner with manufacturing leadership to drive continuous improvement, manage recruitment and performance systems, and guide local staff on labor/employee relations, spending at least 30% of time on the production floor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related field.
  • 7+ years HR experience in manufacturing or similar.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, WC, EEO, COBRA, EEOC.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations at all plant locations.
  • Lead investigations into discrimination or harassment complaints.
  • Manage recruitment and selection process.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Provide monthly labor/employee relations updates.

Collaborating closely with manufacturing leadership, you oversee various programs and initiatives to drive continuous improvement within the department. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, conducting audits, providing project support, and guiding local HR staff to maintain productive and compliant work environments.
