  • Strong HR generalist background across ER, recruiting, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Experience with high-volume hiring and workforce planning.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build structure and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/ SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR activities for site launch, including workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and communications.
  • Support high-volume hiring across production, warehouse, technical, and professional roles.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and staffing vendor relationships.
  • Establish and standardize HR policies, procedures, and site practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, performance, and policy matters.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with operations, safety, payroll, and corporate HR.
  • Support onboarding, training readiness, and workforce planning.
  • Oversee core HR functions including employee relations, benefits, leave administration, payroll support, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure audit readiness.
  • Drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Job description

The HR Manager will play a key role in the launch and ongoing operation of a new manufacturing facility. This position will help establish the site’s workforce, HR infrastructure, and employee practices while supporting the day-to-day HR needs of a growing manufacturing operation.

This role will support the launch of a new U.S.-based manufacturing site. During the initial onboarding and ramp‑up period, the selected candidate will be required to travel to Illinois on a weekly basis to support training, stakeholder relationship-building, and alignment with the broader HR and business teams. Travel may be approximately 3 to 4 days per week during the initial phase, with the role eventually transitioning permanently to the new site location in the first half of 2027.

The ideal candidate has strong HR generalist and manager‑level experience, in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment. This role requires someone who can work hands‑on, build structure in a new site environment, and partner effectively with operations, employees, and leadership.
