Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a 2027 Human Resources Management Trainee for a 12-month immersive leadership program. You will rotate through all HR functions at a domestic site, gain hands-on experience, and develop strategies for recruitment, training, and employee engagement.

Participants attend three Leadership Development Training sessions at our corporate U.S. Headquarters in Greeley, CO, with final placement into a leadership position upon program completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• GPA 2.5 or higher
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Willingness to work different shifts and occasional weekends
• Flexibility to relocate

Responsibilities

• Rotations across all business sectors of the location to gain hands-on knowledge of production processes
• Provide support to the HR department
• Learn all HR departments and functions (Hiring, On-Boarding, Orientation, EEOC, Recruitment, Training, Payroll, Policy enforcement)
• Develop programs focused on recruitment, retention, recognition, policy enforcement
• Interact with and understand the relationship with the Local Union
• Participate in investigations
• Understand absenteeism and turnover metrics
• Assist in staffing and crewing
• Coordinate engagement surveys (Glint)
• Engage in Performance Management activities
• Complete a project aligned with KPIs impacting the bottom line
• Participate in Leadership Development sessions at corporate HQ in Greeley, CO
• Final placement into a leadership role after hands-on training
