Job summary

DP World, parent of syncreon, seeks an HR Manager to lead the people strategy for a major warehouse start-up in Commerce, GA. You will oversee site HR operations, build an HR team, and partner with Operations leadership to shape a high-performing culture.

You will drive recruiting, engagement, retention, and workforce development during launch and beyond, coaching leaders and aligning policies with business goals in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
• HR leadership experience in warehouse/logistics or large operational environments.
• Experience supporting large employee populations in fast-paced environments.
• Strong employee relations and leadership coaching experience.
• Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Experience leading HR teams and developing talent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a start-up or rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite Human Resources functions for a warehouse operation.
• Manage and develop a team of HR professionals and administrative support staff.
• Partner with Operations leadership to support staffing, engagement, performance, retention, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Drive employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Support large-scale recruiting, onboarding, and workforce ramp-up efforts.
• Coach leaders on performance management, investigations, employee development, and leadership effectiveness.
• Analyze workforce metrics and identify trends to improve operational and people performance.
• Support safety, training, and organizational development initiatives.
• Lead change management efforts during site launch and stabilization.
