Job summary

Sofidel is seeking a Temporary HR Assistant Intern at the Duncan, SC facility to gain hands-on experience across HR functions. You will support recruitment, onboarding, training, and HR administrative tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR or business, with strong communication and time-management skills. Spanish is a plus but not required, and collaboration with HR teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous HR or administrative internship experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with HRIS and ATS tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in full-cycle recruiting for the local manufacturing facility.
• Assist in screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates.
• Coordinate with temp agencies and colleges for career/job fairs and events.
• Support employee orientation and onboarding programs.
• Follow up with new hires after 90 days to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Assist in collecting data, generating reports, and monitoring turnover.
• Maintain employee personnel documents and benefit records.
• Assist in disciplinary actions under local HR management guidance.
• Support in implementing and executing training programs.
• Assist with HR plans and procedures, including FMLA and workers' comp.
