Job summary

Sofidel S.p.A. is seeking a Temporary HR Assistant Intern at the Duncan, SC facility to gain hands-on experience across HR disciplines, including recruitment, onboarding, training support, records management, and reporting.

The role offers exposure to a manufacturing HR environment and opportunities to contribute to employee relations, documentation, and HR administration while supporting continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, HR, or a related field.
• Prior HR or administrative experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, and recruitment tools is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred but not required.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting for the local manufacturing facility.
• Screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
• Coordinate with temp agencies and colleges for career/job fairs and events.
• Assist in employee orientation and onboarding programs.
• Follow up with new hires after 90 days to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Maintain personnel documents, benefit records, and required legal documents.
• Assist with disciplinary actions under local HR management guidance.
• Support training program implementation and execution.
• Administer HR plans and procedures including FMLA and workers’ compensation.
