Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists & Land Surveyors, D.P.C. is seeking a Human Resources Intern for Fall 2026 to support our Corporate Office located inOrange County, NY. This is a paid internship offering exposure to HR while working with a diverse group of HR professionals.

The intern will assist with recruitment and onboarding, help with ads, screen applicants in our ATS, perform reference checks, data entry, and provide general HR administrative support.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with interest in HR.
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and priorities.
• Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits and employee issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Post Help Wanted Ads and screen applicants in the ATS.
• Perform candidate reference checks and data entry.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
