Job summary

Energy Transfer LP invites a Human Resources Intern for a 12-week program starting May 2027. The intern will rotate across Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, HR Generalist, and Legal – gaining hands-on experience in a large energy company.

The role requires current enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate program with expected graduation in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028. Interns will split time between Dallas and Houston, collaborating with local HR teams and leaders to support daily

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in HR or related field.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel between Dallas and Houston during the program.

Responsibilities

Assist Recruiting & Talent Acquisition with interview scheduling and onboarding logistics.
Support benefits communications, enrollment, and data accuracy projects.
Observe payroll processes and assist with data entry and reconciliation tasks.
Support compensation benchmarking and data analysis activities.
Assist HR Generalist with employee relations and HR data management.
Learn fundamentals of employment law and HR compliance.
