Job summary

Hyatt is seeking a Hospitality HR Intern for a 6‑month program in the United States. You will assist HR personnel with daily operations and help coordinate training sessions and development programs.

You will perform data entry, filing and document management, maintain employee records for accuracy, support recruitment and onboarding, and assist employee engagement events. Excellent communication, teamwork and MS Office skills are required; Mandarin or Cantonese are a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related degree programme.
• Strong passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural awareness and adaptability.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and high reliability.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin, Cantonese are an advantage.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Assist human resources personnel with daily operational support.
• Provide support in organizing and coordinating training sessions and development programs.
• Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document management.
• Facilitate effective communication across different departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
• Help maintain and update employee records and HR databases for accuracy and compliance.
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes as required.
• Assist in employee engagement activities and internal events.
