Worthington Industries Inc. is seeking an HR intern to support the HR team and managers at our Ohio facility. The role involves assisting with benefits administration, payroll auditing, recruitment, onboarding, and coordinating company programs.

You will work under HR leadership, gain exposure to employment regulations, and develop professional skills in a collaborative manufacturing environment in Ohio. This internship emphasizes confidentiality and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of human resources laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists in benefit administration including questions, forms, training, new hire benefit orientation and exit process, open enrollment etc.
• Assists in payroll auditing to confirm compliance.
• Involved in the recruitment and selection process such as screening, interviewing, onboarding, etc.
• Coordinates miscellaneous programs including banquets, picnics, attendance and recognition awards, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
