Job summary

ITW is seeking an HR Intern to join our Wisconsin team and gain practical experience in employee relations, compensation, recruitment, talent management and diversity. The role supports HR projects, research, benchmarking, and communications development.

The intern will assist HR managers, help with orientation, support recruitment efforts, and contribute to various HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment. ITW values integrity and diverse perspectives.

Qualifications

• Current college sophomore pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of current laws and pending HR legislation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Extensive PC, Internet, and social media skills.
• Maintains confidentiality; acts ethically and with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR managers with a variety of duties.
• Help support new hire orientation.
• Provide recruitment support.
• Other projects as assigned.
