Job summary

Six Flags Over Georgia is seeking an HR Intern to assist with daily front office HR functions, interview and process applicants, and help team members. You will bring a positive attitude, strong organization, and effective communication to support Six Flags employees and applicants.

The role includes assisting with payroll discrepancies, maintaining files, and supporting various HR tasks in a fast-paced park environment. A high school diploma and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be competent in Microsoft Office.
• Be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high volume office environment.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and extra hours if needed.
• Theme Park / Human Resources experience preferred but not required.
• Outgoing personality with developed presentation skills.
• Excellent organization skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Maintain Seasonal Team Member files.
• Ensure accurate clocking in and out procedures for all Seasonal Team Members.
• Handle discrepancies with Seasonal Payroll.
• Maintain logs for Season Passes, One Day Tickets, and Complimentary Tickets with proper documentation.
• Conduct periodic audits for content and compliance with park/corporate standards.
• Enforce park policies and procedures while remaining fair and unbiased.
• Assist with Wardrobe, Training, and Team Member events as needed.
• Monitor 15-year-old employees to ensure hours observed per policy.
• Housekeeping in the Employee Services Office.
• Other duties as assigned.
