Six Flags Over Georgia is seeking a Human Resources intern to aid with the daily functions of the HR front office. You will assist team members, interview, and process applicants with a friendly, organized, and professional approach, embodying the Six Flags Mantra in every interaction.

This paid internship offers $14 per hour, flexible scheduling, and perks such as free tickets for family and friends, scholarships, and access to Atlanta area attractions.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be competent in Microsoft Office.
• Be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high volume office environment.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and extra hours if needed.
• Outgoing personality with developed presentation skills.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Strong sense of initiative.
• Must be able to tolerate frequent interruptions while staying focused on the task at hand.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all incoming phone calls are handled in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintaining Seasonal Team Member files.
• Ensuring accurate clocking in and out procedures of all Seasonal Team Members.
• Accurately handling any and all discrepancies with Seasonal Payroll.
• Accurately accounting for all Season Passes, One Day Tickets, and Complimentary Tickets by maintaining logs and documentation.
• Conducting periodic audits for content and compliance with park/corporate standards.
• Enforcing park policies and procedures.
• Assisting with Wardrobe, Training, and Team Member events.
• Monitoring 15-year-old employees for Six Flags Over Georgia to ensure policies are observed.
• Responsible for housekeeping in the Employee Services Office.
• Other duties as assigned.
