Job summary

Six Flags Over Georgia is seeking a Human Resources Intern to assist with daily HR front office functions, interview scheduling, applicant processing, and answering team member inquiries with a friendly, professional approach. You will support recruitment at high-volume departments, maintain seasonal files, help with new hire orientations, and help with the confidentiality and guest service initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and use independent judgment effectively.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to answer multi-line phones and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Review applications and interview applicants for all high volume departments.
• Assist recruitment efforts at local community trips.
• Assist in the research and scheduling of recruitment trips.
• Greet and assist new team members for interviews and wardrobe appointments.
• Assist with team member relations and events relating to retention and guest service.
• Process rehire and newly hired team members.
• Proactively handle calls and email outreach to applicants.
• Maintain seasonal files for past and current years.
• Assist in reviewing applications and contacting for interviews.
• Assist and teach New Hire Orientations.
• Assist with counting and maintaining inventory as needed.
• Maintain a positive outlook towards the park and HR department.
• Maintain cleanliness of the office and general filing.
• Answering a multiline phone, taking messages, and transferring calls.
• Monitor safety and cleanliness in front office areas.
• Complete special projects as assigned by HR management.
