Job summary

UW Credit Union in Madison, WI is seeking a Human Resources Intern to provide administrative, operational, and project support across the People Strategies & Solutions department, offering hands‑on experience in a professional environment.

You will assist with onboarding, training coordination, employee experience initiatives, and department operations while learning from professionals across HR disciplines, gaining exposure to organizational operations and employee programs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, Communications, or related field.
• Several semesters completed with interest in HR or people-focused work.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support across Talent, DEIB, and Total Rewards functions.
• Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and employee experience initiatives.
• Support meeting logistics, event coordination, and team communications.
• Maintain records and documentation; assist with reporting and workflow coordination.
