This position leads and executes several key HR functions and is responsible for managing the full recruitment and hiring process, partnering with managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent while ensuring an efficient and positive candidate experience. The position is also responsible for developing and implementing HR processes, establishing sustainable operating procedures, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across the department. The role designs, implements, and monitors onboarding, performance management, and individual development planning programs, while supervising one HR Business Partner and providing guidance on workforce planning and HR compliance. In partnership with department leadership, the position helps develop and execute workforce strategies to meet staffing needs and support organizational goals.
Department: Wisconsin Athletics, Human Resources Compensation: The starting salary for this position is $85,000 annually and is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

This is a 100% Academic Staff appointment. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included.
