Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced, team-oriented manufacturing plant.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provides support with employee files.
• Shadow department members to assist them on various projects and deliverables and to understand the full range of all departments we support.
• Learn about our business by supporting HR professionals and working with members of the operations team.
• Maintain both paper and digital employee files, utilizing our HRIS , UKG Pro.
• Support HR team by answering basic questions from employees.
• Communicate with other departments, including members of the senior management team.
• Assists with processing of onboarding and off-boarding paperwork. Assist with new hire orientation, learn about federal, state, and plant specific documents.
• Assist with recruiting new employees, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and extending employment offers.
• Provides general clerical support to HR team.
• Other duties as assigned by HR Manager.
