Job summary

Sikich LLC is seeking an HR Intern to support HR operations, delivering timely, accurate, and service-focused assistance to employees. Reporting to a Manager, the Intern will help respond to HR inquiries, assist with onboarding communications, and maintain records.

Candidates are pursuing a bachelor's degree in HR or related fields, with strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Administrative, customer service, or internship experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Accurate data entry, recordkeeping and document review.
• Professional judgment, reliability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively and escalate questions appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Assist with responding to and routing employee HR inquiries.
• Support onboarding communications, documentation and task tracking.
• Maintain employee records and update HR systems assigned.
• Assist with routine HR transactions and employment changes.
• Support data audits, reporting, file maintenance, and document management.
• Help create and update process documentation and job aids.
• Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
