Job summary

Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions, a global leader in industrial coating, is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support programs that attract, develop, engage, and retain employees within a manufacturing environment.

The intern will gain hands-on experience across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, training, HR operations, and workforce analytics, working closely with HR professionals and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume reviews, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and recruiting events.
• Support internship and university recruiting initiatives, including career fairs and campus partnerships.
• Assist with new hire onboarding activities, orientation preparation, and employee documentation.
• Maintain employee records, files, organizational charts, and HR databases while ensuring confidentiality.
• Assist with employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and culture-building initiatives.
• Support training and development programs through scheduling, communications, tracking, and material preparation.
• Compile, organize, and analyze HR data to support reporting and decision-making.
• Create presentations, reports, and communications for HR projects and initiatives.
• Assist with HR process improvement projects and administrative tasks.
• Support employee events, meetings, and site activities.
• Collaborate with HR team members and cross-functional departments on assigned projects.
• Lear n and apply HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Perform other work-related duties and special projects as assigned.
