Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience using a variety of online recruitment tools.
• Knowledge of EEO, ADA, and OFCCP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure onboarding process is complete for new hires and in compliance with company guidelines.
• Coordinate with HR Manager, Payroll and Operations Manager to ensure timely pay and status changes.
• Maintain company policies adhering to environmental, health and safety regulations and contractual obligations.
• Respond to employee and customer questions regarding policies (LDRM and Joint Venture).
• Explain and apply the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) to staff.
• Prepare termination documents and gather all necessary documentation.
• Manage the leave process and coordinate FMLA/LOA requests; address ADA requests with HR Operations.
• Provide information about policies, duties, working conditions, wages, and promotion opportunities.
• Conduct exit interviews and develop strategies to reduce turnover.
• Assist HR Manager on various projects and provide HR guidance to supervisors and managers.
