Job summary

Mohave County Human Resources is seeking a motivated Human Resources Generalist to join the team. This role focuses on coordinating employee wellness programs, developing training, supporting employee growth, and delivering HR communications to staff.

The position involves presenting orientation, leading the Supervisory Academy, and collaborating with departments and partners to advance HR initiatives. Travel is required and weekends are off.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, business administration, public administration, industrial relations, or closely related field.
• Three years of progressive work experience in the Human Resources field.
• Some supervisory or lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee wellness programs, health screenings, Lunch and Learn sessions, and recognition events.
• Manage workforce development training and oversee the County’s Supervisory Academy.
• Develop and present New Employee Orientation and HR-related training.
• Create and distribute the weekly HR and Benefits newsletter.
• Coordinate benefits open enrollment and employee benefits education.
• Administer the County’s Service Award Program and support the Healthy Arizona Worksites Program.
• Represent Mohave County at job fairs and community events.
• Manage projects and collaborate with departments, vendors, and community partners to support HR programs and initiatives.
