North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is seeking an HR Generalist to support the Administration Department and about 420 employees. The position covers employee relations, recruitment, training, and equity programs, with HRIS and payroll duties.

The role involves implementing HR initiatives, maintaining policies, and providing accurate reporting. In-office work four days a week and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years minimum experience in a Human Resources position.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• A total of 9 years of related experience may be used in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Aufgaben

• Develop and conduct presentations, trainings, and workshops regarding HR initiates and topics.
• Lead the training and development of our people bridging skills gaps and providing opportunities for all employees to reach their definition of fulfillment and success at NCTCOG.
• Assist HR leaders with employee relations matters, including employee concerns, workplace issues, investigations, conflict resolution, and the consistent application of company policies and practices.
• Partner with HR Leadership and stakeholders to conduct system implementations.
• Create, implement and facilitate highly independent project work in a specialized area of human regulations and assist HR Management in planning for the agency’s present and future needs in all areas of HR Management.
• Assist in the administration of the compensation plan by evaluating best practices and developments in applicable laws to drive changes in equity plan design and implementation.
• May assist in recruitment efforts; maintains records; develops recruitment advertising; places advertisements; maintains relationships with agencies and universities.
• Updates the compensation structure on the HRIS and payroll system; updates job descriptions; maintains relevant records and logs pertaining to applicant flow.
• Assist in the analyses of data and organizes in a fashion that lends itself to understanding what the data means to facilitate management decision making.
