Job summary

North Central Texas Council of Governments in Arlington, TX seeks an HR Generalist focusing on Training & Systems to support about 420 employees. The role involves HR duties at a professional level, employee relations, training, recruitment, and health and retirement plan administration agency-wide.

You will lead trainings, assist with system implementations (DelTek Talent Management, Cornerstone, SmartSheet), manage HRIS entries, update compensation structures, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience in an HR position; benefits administration preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; up to 9 years of related experience may substitute.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct trainings, presentations, and workshops on HR initiatives.
• Lead training and development to bridge skills gaps across the workforce.
• Assist with employee relations, investigations, and policy consistency.
• Participate in system implementations and HR project work over the next 18 months.
• Update compensation structures and maintain HR records and reports.
