College of Eastern Idaho is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations across benefits, compensation, recruitment, employee relations, training, and records management. You will provide cross coverage within the HR team and help maintain knowledge retention and internal processes.

In this role, you may contribute to events and assist with department initiatives, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting and applying laws, regulations, and policies.
• Counsel employees on HR matters with confidentiality.
• Knowledge of HR administration and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Administer overlapping HR programs including compensation, benefits, and leave.
• Handle personnel transactions and policy maintenance; maintain records.
• Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring with department managers.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency rules.
• Provide onboarding and training support; advise on performance management.
