Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL is seeking an HR Generalist Team Leader to direct a geographically dispersed team of HR Generalists across the United States. You will act as player-coach, delivering compliant, customer-focused HR support and driving service excellence.

You will coach, mentor, and manage performance; partner with business leaders on staffing, employee relations, and HR initiatives while ensuring policy alignment and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of Human Resources experience.
• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, team lead, or coaching experience.
• Experience supporting employees and leaders across multiple locations.
• Experience in handling employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution.
• Experience using HR systems, case management platforms, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed team of HR Generalists across the United States.
• Provide leadership and oversight to HR Generalists while supporting an assigned client group.
• Guide on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and organizational effectiveness.
• Partner with business leaders to identify workforce needs and implement HR solutions.
• Coach HR Generalists on HR practices, stakeholder management, and case resolution.
• Mitigate employment risk and ensure compliance with employment laws.
