Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day operations at our Colfax and Stokesdale locations in North Carolina. You will handle employee relations, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and policy compliance, partnering with COE teams to ensure effective HR programs onsite.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HR experience involving employee engagement in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years recruiting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and coach employees and management on employee relations and policy applications.
• Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, and performance management.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to coach and influence business decisions.
• Identify training needs via job analysis and consultations with managers.
• Recruit for Customer Service Representative roles from posting to onboarding.
• Promote HR programs and support effective team communication.
• Continuously improve HR processes.
• Coordinate/drive employee and manager training on topics like DEI and benefits.
