IGS Energy is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with the Commercial & Industrial team to attract, develop and retain talent, aligning people programs with business objectives.

The role focuses on early-career talent acquisition, onboarding improvements and enhancing the overall employee experience while guiding managers on performance and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably as HR Generalist.
• Experience managing employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Experience supporting recruiting initiatives and interviewing candidates.
• Experience developing talent management or career pathing initiatives.
• Experience with Canada and offshore teams preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Support TA initiatives for C&I, collaborating with leaders and the TA team to identify and address hiring needs.
• Interview entry-level candidates and provide hiring recommendations.
• Develop career pathing frameworks across C&I, partnering with business leaders to establish job levels, core competencies and expectations for career progression.
• Coach managers on effectively managing employee performance, recognizing achievements and addressing development needs.
• Lead onboarding and employee engagement initiatives.
• Conduct exit interviews, identify turnover trends and share actionable insights with HR and business leadership.
• Partner with leaders to implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers on leadership effectiveness and organizational changes.
