Job summary

IGS Energy is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with the Commercial & Industrial unit, attracting, developing and retaining talent while supporting talent acquisition initiatives, onboarding and employee experience improvements.

This role serves as a trusted HR resource on employee relations, performance management and organizational effectiveness, collaborating with HR leadership to drive people initiatives and workforce planning across the C&I business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist capacity.
• Experience managing employee relations matters, including performance management, corrective action and workplace investigations.
• Experience supporting recruiting initiatives and interviewing candidates.

Responsibilities

• Support TA initiatives for C&I, collaborating with leaders and the TA team to identify and address hiring needs.
• Collaborate with C&I on recruiting efforts for entry-level positions, including interviewing candidates and providing hiring recommendations.
• Support early-career recruiting initiatives, including internship programs and campus recruiting.
• Participate in development and enhancement of career pathing frameworks across C&I, establishing job levels and core competencies.
• Partner with managers to identify development opportunities and establish clear career growth paths.
• Coach managers on managing performance, recognizing achievements and addressing development needs.
• Conduct HR meet-and-greets with new hires and enhance onboarding experiences.
• Gather employee feedback and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience.
• Conduct exit interviews and share insights with HR and leadership.
• Provide guidance to managers on leadership effectiveness, engagement, team development and HR policies.
• Support organizational planning, including team structure and promotions/compensation recommendations.
• Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers on relations matters, workplace concerns and policies.
• Independently manage employee relations issues and conduct workplace investigations as needed.
• Promote fair application of HR policies while balancing employee needs and business priorities.
• Partner with HR to implement programs and initiatives, and leverage data to measure effectiveness.
