Job summary

Eataly Chicago is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding, training, policy interpretation, performance management, employee relations and terminations. Reports to the Human Resources Business Partner.

The role collaborates with the HRBP to drive staffing, onboarding, training, investigations, coaching, benefits, and compliance with federal/state laws. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years HR experience in retail/hospitality are required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field.
• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in retail/hospitality.
• Understanding of HR components including systems, databases and metrics.
• Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Spanish language fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with HRBP to deploy a comprehensive People strategy from recruitment through exit.
• Manages end-to-end recruitment using ATS and coordinates interviews.
• Organizes local hiring events and participates in external job fairs.
• Provides onboarding and training for managers and new hires.
• Investigates employee relations issues and counsels staff and supervisors.
• Supports coaching and development initiatives with managers.
• Supports benefits rollout and adheres to HR compliance requirements.
